European companies are facing a rapidly globalizing and a highly competitive world. There are specific competencies required to internationalize successfully. Next to financial and production requirements, knowledge (markets, business partners, legal ) and competencies (interpersonal relations and negotiations, cultural awareness, languages,… ) are needed for successful internationalization.

The Comp Int project wants to support companies with a game! The game that we are developing, benchmarks the readiness of the player and generates awareness and knowledge when entering foreign markets.

The outcomes are:

Benchmark of the competencies (outcome 1) necessary for internationalisation
Development & in-company testing of an interactive gaming tool assessing + guiding internationalisation competencies (outcome 2)
Feedback of the results towards the participating organisations & related governments (outcome 3)
use of the tools by partners and stakeholders in their programs involving companies (outcome 4)
End symposium (outcome 5)
